This artwork is part of a set of two paintings of the same size. I painted this lady's partner as well! 

I have a few different pairs of King Parrots that visit my yard, and it's lovely to see them bring their young ones along too at certain times. I've learned each of their personalities. This particular female is quiet and patient. She stands back and watches and waits while her boisterous partner seeks all the attention, then quietly walks up to say hello after a few minutes have gone by.
