Resting up.

Thank you for all the enquiry emails! Please know that if you have written to me over the past few weeks, I will be getting back to you very shortly.

October has been pretty rotten around here... I also caught a very nasty virus while I was in Melbourne for the show, and I'm still trying to shake it. It all kind of overshadowed the show excitement!

I would quite happily skip straight to November, and leave October far behind, but for now I am trying to take some advice from our resident furry one and just rest up. He's always willing to demonstrate the method:

Will be back with updates and a show re-cap soon. Hope you have been well!

August

I keep hearing the good old "I can't believe it's August" phrase being fired about all over the place. I'm the same. But I think I say that about every month.

But, August is my birthday month, so it gets me thinking and planning and feeling totally optimistic. I'm brilliant at planning a comletely impossible art timeline for myself, but it's always good to have things to look forward to. I just try not to focus on all the things that don't get ticked off my ridiculous list.

Not to mention, August is the last month of Winter - my absolute favourite season, especially in the mornings. I like the fog and the crispy air, and I like looking out at our yard and seeing the icy grass all lit up by the sunrise. And since I've finally jumped on the iPhone train, I've found it nice and easy to snap my favourite Winter moments:

If I could take the whole of Winter off to just paint I'd be perfectly happy! Even if the temperature drops do cause the odd artwork disaster, something which I will document tomorrow!
